The sanction was given in a meeting held in the federal capital the other day. The occasion was attended by the officers of the Planning Wing and other departments according to the press release by CDA.

The building plans of seven commercial buildings were put forward for approval in the meeting.

The building proposal and design of Plot No. 17 of Diplomatic Enclave situated in Sector G-5 were approved.

Likewise, a building plan for Plot No 1 in the Blue Area adjoining Sector F-9 and G-9 was approved in the meeting along with the approval of the construction plan of Plot No. 6-C in Sector F-10 Markaz.

The forum also gave a nod to the design of Plot No. 59 in the Blue Area nearby F-6 and G-6 and also approved the building plan after comprehensive scrutiny of the papers.

Moreover, the building plan of Plot No. 64 in Sector H-11/4 was also approved in the meeting. In addition, in G-11/3 the design of plot no 11 for the construction of a mosque was accepted.

In the Gulberg Green area, the building plan and design for the construction of a school in Plot No. 578 Block B was also approved.

On the other hand, the approval of the design of Plot No. 15 in the Blue Area neighbouring Sector G-9 was postponed due to the absence of the architect.

Earlier, CDA had approved the first 36-storey highest residential building design of its kind in Pakistan. It also comprised five multi-story buildings designed for construction.

The 36-storey tallest residential building will be built in the F-10 Markaz of Islamabad city, of which 70% of the area will be kept green.

However, the developer of the 36-storey building will have to take permission from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority to start the construction work on the project.
